About SMK Institute of Nursing

SMK is abbreviated as (Shaheed Molai Khan) SMK School of Nursing Established in 2007 Registered with PNC (Pakistan Nursing Council) and SNEB (Sindh Nurses Examination Board) Karachi the first batch of thirty students of School in 2010 completed their training of General Nursing Diploma now they are working for a different organization on different positions latter on School changed names as Institute of Nursing (ION) which is also Registered with PNC and SNEB and started Post Basic Specializations in Pediatric Nursing and Cardiac Nursing in 2011. Institute Of Nursing provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students get ahead. SMK ION Our unparalleled teaching methods help Nursing professionals to prepare for the next step in their career and broaden their horizons.

Since opening our doors in 2007, we’ve worked hard on expanding our curriculum to meet the needs of emerging Nursing professionals in General Nursing diplomas and Post Basic Specializations in Cardiac Nursing and Pediatric Nursing.

Now we are upgrading this Institute for Degree program for this purpose we intend to affiliate the Institute with SMBBU (Shahee Muhtarama Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana for BSN 4 Years and Post RN 2 years program and as Introducing 2 year CNA after recognization from PNC (Pakitan Nursing Council) Islamabad.

Our Institute is affiliated with for Clinical Practice with RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur Secondary level public sector in District Shikarpur Sindh Province near Jaboabad and close to the border of Baluchistan. it has so many departments (Medicine, Surgery, Obs & Gynee, Cardiology, ENT, Pediatric NICU, Pediatric Ward, COVID-19 HDU, Emergency, and OPD as well hospital consist 295 bedded it established in 1935.
